I want to:
“My Royalties decreased back in 2011. I don’t believe Chesapeake has paid me all the royalties I deserve.”
“I invested in 5 wells with Chesapeake in 2007. The costs are way above other similar wells that I own.”
“No one at Chesapeake will return emails or voicemails. It has been over two years since any royalties have been received.”
“I had a contract drawn up with Chesapeake that stated there would be no transport fee charged. Went ok for a while then got the letter from Chesapeake that said they now had the right to charge a transport fee.”
“We have 10 or more properties with Chesapeake but don’t trust them and need your help.”
“The royalty payments have gotten smaller over time. They took a large drop approximately two years ago following a letter from Chesapeake stating that they had been overpaying as a result of not including or miscalculating all expenses.”
“Our lease does not allow for production cost and they are charging us so we have not gotten a check in years. They will not tell us anything when we call them.”
“Underpaid for gas and overcharged for expenses.”
It’s nothing short of stealing.
Since at least August 2011, Chesapeake has knowingly and systematically overcharged its royalty owners for the costs of processing, transportation and marketing of natural gas. The costs and expenses charged are so unreasonable and so substantial that they are unconscionable and a clear breach of the lease terms. The amount royalty owners have been overcharged and underpaid totals in the billions.
Is In Numbers.
